The Jacksons developed from the Jackson 5, whose Motown recordings included I Want You Back and I'll Be There. After moving to Epic and changing their name, the brothers took more control of their writing and production. Destiny and Triumph put family harmonies into longer funk and dance arrangements, including Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground), This Place Hotel and Can You Feel It.
