OFF!

OFF! joined singer Keith Morris and guitarist Dimitri Coats in a Los Angeles band built around short, abrasive hardcore songs. First Four EPs kept most tracks close to a minute, with Raymond Pettibon's artwork linking the records visually to earlier California punk. Free LSD later stretched the sound into longer, noisier passages and became the basis of a film featuring the band.
