Handsome Ned, born Robin Masyk, helped make country and rockabilly part of Toronto's Queen Street music scene in the 1980s. His Cameron House residency brought those styles into a room shared with the city's alternative bands. Archival recordings were collected after his death as The Ballad of Handsome Ned, and Put the Blame on Me appeared in Bruce McDonald's film Roadkill.
