Eric Church

Eric Church came out of North Carolina and Nashville songwriting with a country sound that was always willing to borrow the scale and dynamics of rock. Chief pushed him into arena territory, while records such as Mr. Misunderstood showed a looser, album-minded side; his long, changeable live sets remain a major part of how the songs work.
