Coldplay

Coldplay formed in London in the late 1990s and moved from the restrained guitar rock of Parachutes into increasingly widescreen pop. Chris Martin's melodic writing remained the anchor as the band added electronic production, arena-sized choruses and elaborate visual staging, turning albums such as A Rush of Blood to the Head and Viva la Vida into global concert repertoire.
