Bywater Call's seven-piece lineup puts Meghan Parnell's voice and Dave Barnes' slide guitar alongside keyboards, bass, drums and horns. The Toronto band works between soul, blues and roots rock, using the larger ensemble for both quiet passages and full-band climaxes. Remain and Shepherd developed that sound in the studio; Sunshine Live documents the arrangements on stage.
