Burton Cummings

Burton Cummings became one of Canada's defining rock voices as lead singer and songwriter of The Guess Who, bringing a powerful, elastic vocal to songs including These Eyes, No Sugar Tonight and American Woman. His solo career kept the piano and melodic songwriting at the centre, producing another run of Canadian hits after leaving the band.
