Khruangbin Shared the Fillmore Miami Record with Toro y Moi

Khruangbin’s Live at the Fillmore Miami did not give the trio the whole record. Released on September 22, 2023, it put Toro y Moi on one side and Khruangbin on the other.

The split followed the idea behind Khruangbin’s first official live-release series: share the albums with artists who had travelled alongside them. Toro y Moi’s selections include Ordinary Pleasure and The Loop. Khruangbin’s side moves through First Class, August 12, August 10 and Maria También.

The Fillmore Miami Beach is the common setting that holds the two performances together. Instead of presenting the touring experience as one band in isolation, the release preserves part of the bill around it. The venue’s place in the catalogue is a shared live document.
