Goose Took a River Street Night to Alive and Well

On October 25, 2019, Goose packed River Street Jazz Cafe for a sold-out night in northeastern Pennsylvania. The set moved through A Western Sun and Butter Rum before a second set that included a disco-leaning Into the Myst.

The night kept travelling after the band left the room. Goose later chose Butter Rum from the River Street show for Alive and Well, its 2020 live album assembled from performances across several venues. The full concert remains available too, so the album track can be heard back inside the longer night that produced it. It is a small piece of the band’s rise preserved from a room in Plains, just outside Wilkes-Barre.
