Fleet Foxes Put Boston Harbor on Record

Fleet Foxes recorded their August 10, 2022 performance at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion. Released in June 2024 as Live on Boston Harbor, the album turns a waterfront tour stop into a substantial document of the band onstage.

The performance credits include guest vocalist Uwade and three additional brass players, alongside the group’s wide range of instruments. The 27-track release brings those voices and arrangements together across an extended set.

The title keeps the setting close to the music, while the credits identify the precise venue and date. Boston Harbor is the geographic frame; Leader Bank Pavilion is the room behind the recording. Together they give the album a specific place to return to.
